I feel like you are living my life in the future. I was just wondering why my fiance loves me, why he tolerates me being so up tight. How my friends fade in and out. I'm 20 right now, I know a lot of people but am not the girl invited to birthday parties. My "close" friends vary from month to month.

I can understand the phone phobia a little. I have always hated making phone calls. Sometimes I write myself up a little sheet sort of scripting out the [potential] conversation. My husband commented to me recently about this after we did personality profiles. I came up as an extrovert, which surprised us. My husband can't understand how I can enjoy being around people, and yet be scared to order pizza.

Thanks for sharing. Great post.

As a 63 year old lady, having survived cancer twice since 05 how I feel your pain and I think you've taken giant steps forward, wishing you much success on your journey to loving yourself which in itself is a separate journey (and much needed) to go forward..blessings..

I am Thomas Dyer the 1st Buddhist Chaplain in the Army. I am in Iraq right now serving all Soldiers and providing religious support for Buddhist Soldiers. There are more Buddhist Soldiers than you would think. I remember meeting Thomas at the Pea Body Hotel in Memphis TN at the luncheon for HH 14 Dalai Lama. It was clear to me when I met Thomas, that he was a special young man. I was so amazed at his small stature, yet large presence that I asked my teacher Kempo Gawang Rinpoche to meet him as well. Kempo was impressed by him. It is very special for someone to recognize the Dharma at such a young age. Also it is very interesting that young Thomas recongnized Dharma without parental couching. What should we make of this? Time will tell. Chaplain Thomas Dyer US Army, Camp Taji Iraq.
