I swear I wrote yesterday. I was actually doing a review of all the media Thomas got this year and how it all happened to begin with. But things happened (not like my normal things happened so I didn’t write excuse). One of the Canadians and I have been working closely on some projects together in recent months. Since my job change was announced a few months ago (and again I give hi-fives and hell yeahs around) and we knew for sure I would be working on this part of our infrastructure we have been working closer on this projects. We planned a major change over the Christmas holiday. Since Canada celebrates Boxing day that gave us a 4 day weekend to make things happen. Let’s just leave it at we made things happen. Not things that we wanted to happen. We had to un-happen those things over New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Before all this I had romantic little plans in my head on how this was all going to go. It didn’t…I was sad. I am sure I cried and yelled and everything mostly because ya’ll know how I handle stress. Anyhow everything is working and good and the Canadian and I are good and love conquers all.
Every year since Thomas was born we have gone to Chinese on New Year’s Day. I am not sure why we started it but much like the casinos on Christmas Eve (please don’t ask…it is painful enough as it is) it became a tradition simply because Thomas remembered we had done it 2 consecutive years. Stuff was not going well and I was in a foul mood because of it (chime in now…poor Tom) and told Tom to go with his parents and just leave me. Tom took Thomas over to his parents to discuss this with them while I had my little freakout. Decided we would not go and wait until later in the week. However his mother noticed that Thomas had some dots on his face and neck.
To which Thomas announced, oh yeah I have them all over, they are mosquito bites. It is December Janurary. And he thought he had mosquito bites. On his chest and butt. In January. When he has been inside the whole time.
He obviously has chicken pox. So that my peeps is why I didn’t write yesterday (or rather finish and publish it)
